This Thursday (2017-06-08), Hund will be releasing a platform update. Services will continue to function throughout this release.

AWS SNS Granular Subscriptions

This change introduces support for granular subscriptions (i.e. per-component notification preferences). This change removes reliance on AWS SNS topics, which will be deleted during this update. Functionality to end-users remains the same.

All existing AWS SNS subscribers will continue to receive alerts throughout the update and will be able to request their new notification preferences link via the subscribe page afterward.

Also being introduced are configuration options for a desired “max send price” for AWS cost management, and an “allowed countries” option for specifying which countries a visitor can subscribe with.
